My love for animals stems back to my childhood.  When I was a little girl, my parents said I was going to grow up to be a "professional pet petter"!  At 11 years old, I volunteered at Oglebay Good Zoo until I was 16.  My family and I have experience with many types of animals and currently have 11 dogs, 3 cats, and 6 chickens.  Critter Cabin was started to provide the type of place we would want our own pets to be if they couldn't be at home.
